Will you meet me in Heaven?

Will you meet me over yonder in that city of delight?
Where a mansion for me is waiting, with a robe of spotless white!

Once i hoped in Jesus, now I know that he is mine
Once my lamps were dying, in him they brightly shine!

Once for death I waited, now his coming hail,
My hopes securely anchored, safe within his veil!

Someday I'll walk with Jesus' in the land of endless day
when my journey here is ended, I'll go home with him to stay.

No longer feel this earthly pain, or suffer all alone
In Heaven no more tears will flow, our perfect eternal home.

In John 14:2-3 we read, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

THE GOLDEN STAIRS OF HEAVEN

On earth I know such sorrow,
I carry a heavy load,
But there is a brighter tomorrow,
Where there is no rocky road.

I know my Lord will guide me,
I have no need to fear,
For he always walks beside me
When I call out he will hear!

Jesus knows when I am lonely,
Knows when I need more,
He prepares for me a mansion
On heavens golden shore.

For you I will be waiting,
Beside the golden stair,
When Jesus bids you welcome
Look for me and I'll be there!

I will wait for you there,
In Gods great unknown,
Till he comes and he gathers
You too for his own!

HEAVENS GATE

God sends us down his promise
It's worth more than wordly gold,
"Fear not for I am with you"
When heavens gates unfold.

Just beyond the banks of Jordan,
Beyond the chilling tide,
Where I will be with Jesus,
The one they crucified!

That will be a happy meeting,
When my Saviors face I see,
He shall take my hand and lead me,
To the ones that wait for me!

So today if you're not walking,
In the path that's always straight,
Call on Jesus, who shall not leave you,
Let him guide you through the gate!

Trust in God's wisdom,
Take his words and doubt them never,
Someday in Gods great Kingdom,
We all will be together!

IN MEMORY OF MY COUSIN BECKY a poem by carrie neighbors

Though your work on earth is done
Now in Heaven your life's just begun,
All your loved ones there you'll see
No more pain or woe you'll know
For there it shall forgotten be!

Now sing and dance in endless praise
In Heavens glorious unceasing days
Rejoicing with Jesus face to face
Surrounded by his loving grace!

On earth we still can't surmise
Oh the greatness of surprise
For God has called you as his own
Forever there, his joy to share,
beneath his glorious throne!

The way was rough, Gods grace enough
to soften every fall,
For he was there, each tear to share
Not just one but all!

Becky you were loved so much
By every life your heart could touch
Your children now reflect your worth
Of your legacy on earth
Every heart today is stirred
becuase your life on earth occurred!

Since your birth, God knew your worth
then he saw you needed rest
He proved when he took you home with him
He only takes the best!

Written in memory of my cousin becky, a beautiful person taken from us too soon.
