Each troubled day, has vanished away
as each one he will safely keep.

When Christians go to be with God
He's promised sweet repose
Through night and day, the angels stay
Each name and need he knows.

Though the ones that are left behind
feel loss and sadness too
Hardships come, the spirit grows numb
yet he will all strength renew!

How breathtaking the colors at sunset over water can be

There are simple joys that each of us can find

True happiness is found in countless different ways
So many things in life play a simple part
Deep within our faith is where it all must start
True happiness will come when to god you give your heart.

Oh what a beautiful morning the sun it shines so bright
It reminds me of my Savior who shines in heavens light!
There we'll need no sun, never a cloud in the sky

alone in a room behind the door
I receive a renewed awareness of God
accepting him into my life forever more

In the secret of his presence
I can receive his gift of peace for my day
his guidance shall surround me
and always light my way.

In the secret of his presence
I shall go forward to live and walk in his light
as he fills my cup with his blessings
and he shelters me within his sight

In the secret of his presence
I thank God for every gift that makes my day bright
I thank him for making me whole and strong
through his guidance my life can turn out just right.

If we confess not then our burdens keep

You know my needs so well

He gives to us his abundant love

then waits for us to let him in
he listens for our call

God is waiting to forgive
so don't think he won't understand
God already knows your needs
and he is reaching out his hand

So pray to him from your heart
Let your worries be still
then give to him your daily cares
and strive to do his will.

When you fail in your way
or in your duties falter
just ask forgiveness from our lord
and lay your burdens at the alter

Let God bring forgiveness and love
he will send them all our way
then you will be prepared once more
to face another day.

WHY WOULD GOD LISTEN TO MY BROKEN PRAYERS

How can I pray to God?
He is so much greater than me!
Why would he listen to my words
When his powers can part the sea?

Why would God send Angels down
to watch over me each day?
How can I pray to such a mighty king
How can I know what to say?

Why would God whose power reins
over all creation on earth and above
listen to one as underserving as me
then embrace me with all of his love?

Why would God perfect in wisdom
listen to one so broken?
With unmeasured deep awareness
he answers in words now unspoken.

God in his glory loves me and listens
as i come to him with each prayer.
For he not only listens but answers each one
then he lifts up the pain that I bear.

Though I'm not perfect
He forgives me and makes me whole.
He gives me each day anew
To embrace him and bless my soul.

Praise to the one who created heaven and earth
Praise to the one with great power
Praise to the who hears my prayers
Then sends light to my darkest hour!

there are many that we face
Just give them all to God

So many times we are heavy
with burdens we must bear
when all we need to do
is reach out to God in prayer!

Begin your day each morning
On bended knee in prayer
call upon his name
and truly he'll be there.

Take all your needs to God
Seek and you shall find
He will give you inner peace
for body soul and mind.

Thank-you father for being so patient with me
Even if I make mistakes, as so many times I do
I am grateful I have your endless mercy to lean on
There is so much strength I draw from you.

I know my spending is not always wise
Yet still you see my needs are met
Your always watching through sleepless eyes
I know you're not through with me yet

You always seem to protect me
You pick me up whenever I fall
You give me all your endless love
And you answer whenever I call.

So thank-you father for being near
Please help me to think more before I speak
Release me of my anger and fear
Then strengthen me when I am weak.
