DONT GO WITHOUT JESUS

What will you do without Jesus
When death is drawing near
Without his love, the only love
That casts out very fear!

What will you do without him
When he has shut the door?
And you are left outside because
You would not come in before!

When it is no use knocking
no use to stand and wait
For the world of doom has pierced your heart
That terrible too late!

But within Jesus is life
His many words so blessed
Within Jesus is everlasting joy
and everlasting rest

So why should you do without him
It is not yet too late
He has not yet closed the door to you
he has not yet shut the gate

He calls you hush he calls you
he would not have you go
another step without him'
because he loves you so!

He wants to have you with him
do you want to have him too?
You cannot do without him
For by grace he will save you.
