I am Gods child in him I rejoice
I am his child not by chance but by choice
He will stand by me in the fiercest storm
I will trust in his challenges no matter what form
He will never forsake me in times of sorrow
his tests always strengthen me to face tomorrow
Even when I turn my back on his will
He never leaves me; and believes in me still.
I am Gods child his creation with all my being
My father in heaven is always there, just beyond my seeing
He will guide and protect me till this world I depart
Truly I will trust him with all of my heart!
