God gives us yet another day
A chance to start anew
He gives to us his abundant love
and his forgiveness too.
He wraps us in his loving arms
he understands us all
then waits for us to let him in
he listens for our call
God is waiting to forgive
so don't think he won't understand
God already knows your needs
and he is reaching out his hand
So pray to him from your heart
Let your worries be still
then give to him your daily cares
and strive to do his will.
When you fail in your way
or in your duties falter
just ask forgiveness from our lord
and lay your burdens at the alter
Let God bring forgiveness and love
he will send them all our way
then you will be prepared once more
to face another day.
Psalm 32:1-2
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord doesn't count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit".
