Delay not until tomorrow
lest you're coming be too late
Come to Jesus dying sinner
Enter at mercy's gate
There you will see a beautiful city
where no one can go astray
there you will meet Jesus
Make Heaven your home someday!
Jesus is standing at heaven's door
he sees everything you do and say
he is watching you from the other shore
so call on him and be saved today
You may go out in this old world alone
and seed for the Devil son
but remember that Jesus is watching you
no matter how far that you run!
He knows all your secrets
and all that you do
you can never deceive him
He is always watching over you!
You may yield to temptation
but yielding is sin
and Jesus will help you
if you just let him in.
Be thoughtful and earnest
Kindhearted and true
Just call upon Jesus
He will never fail you!
Christ says the Final Judgment will not be based just on faith but on response: "Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven" (Matt 7:21).
